Hello Hatzic Families

Welcome Back! We are eager and excited to start another great year! Here is the outline for the first week.

• On Tuesday, Sept 5^th all returning students will go to their classrooms that they were in the year before with their last year's classroom teacher.
• All NEW students will go to gym (next to the main office)
  
• All students will be dismissed at 11am, the first day is an early dismissal.
• On the first day of school, students should bring only their pencil box (with a pencil and crayons/pencil crayons) and not all their school supplies. Thank you. 😊
• On Wednesday, students will go back to their last year's classroom and spend the day with their previous teacher and classmates.
• On Thursday, student will be moved during the day to this year's classroom and meet their new teacher and classmates. At the end of the day, student will go to their last year's class for pick up.
• On Friday, students are asked to bring their school supplies and head to their “new" classroom. If your child has forgotten where their “new" classroom is, staff will be outside on Friday morning to help locate classrooms.
• Class list will not be posted prior. The posting of class list earlier causes both students and their care givers anxiety.
  
  Please know that teachers and administration spend significant amount of time and consideration when organizing classrooms to ensure the best learning environment for each child. All classes are multi-ability classes with children working at various levels. Please do not let the label of a straight class or split class designations worry you. If you need to talk to me about a placement, please make an appointment after the first school week, by calling the office.
